Landquip launches new trailed sprayers

Two new large capacity InTrac trailed sprayers are claimed to be half the cost of a high specification self propelled

Riding on air, the two new InTrac sprayers share the same chassis design and a high capacity 50 kph commercial steering axle offered with hydraulic or air brakes.

The polyethylene tanks have an extremely smooth inner surface making them easy to keep clean by 3 powered rotary wash heads using clean water from a 700 litre wash tank. The new, low centre of gravity tank design is shaped so as to dissipate liquid surge making the machine stable in the field and safe on the road.

An efficient sump and in-tank stainless steel multi-outlet agitation tubes ensure thorough mixing of the liquid throughout 50-60 hectares of spray application.

The machine is designed to efficiently apply large volumes of liquid fertiliser through Landquip’s Umbrella 7-outlet fertiliser jets. The InTrac’s larger tank capacity also encourages users to apply the recommended volume rather than cutting water rates to suit tank size and work loads, ensuring the most efficient use of chemical when spraying in dry conditions, e.g. this September.

The InTrac can be specified with high volume hydraulic or PTO driven pumps with outputs of
450, 700, or 1300 l/min.

High flow boom distribution plumbing enables even application of 1200+ litres/hectare across boom widths of up to 44 metres on these two new models of InTrac.

Landquip’s InTrac offers 800mm clearance throughout its length and can be further enhanced by fitting a Scharmuller Euro high hitch for 80mm ball drawbar.

Fast, efficient chemical induction is conveniently carried out by the use of a large 50 litre capacity stainless steel chemical hopper equipped with twin can wash units. The hopper is automatically washed internally on closure of the side folding lid.

A new intuitive touch screen gives the operator finger tip control of all programming and command functions. Strategically positioned cameras utilise the large 8.4″ screen to show the operator what is going on around the machine.

The CanBus linked Commando hydraulic switch panel offers easy boom operation of bi-fold or
tri-fold booms.

Typical extra features include GPS auto section switching and auto boom height control.

Being well balanced and high capacity, the machines are ideally suited to 180+hp tractors. Excellent traction is achievable by virtue of load distribution over 3 axles whatever the terrain.
The whole unit creates little more ground compaction than a self propelled that has only two thirds of the capacity of the InTrac.

Large diameter 380 or 420/85 R46 rowcrops with 600 or 650/65 R38 flotation tyres are high load wheel combinations that are easy to pull.

Prices from £63,000.

The first public showing of the new 5200 litre InTrac will be at:-
