De Lacy Executive’s client is a well-established and progressive agricultural machinery manufacturer and dealer, with over 35 years’ industry experience. Due to continued growth and development, we seek an ambitious and proactive Manager to drive the Parts function forward from our clients base in the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of farm machinery.
Taking ownership of the parts department and its expansion, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing the parts team and fulfilling customer needs, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
Strong leadership and organizational skills will be required to manage the daily activities within the busy Parts Department, which will include processing orders, pick & dispatch items in stock and ordering in parts from suppliers. You will ensure all parts warranty claims and return claims are dealt with in a timely manner.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with good agricultural knowledge to improve existing systems and implement a sound best practice culture in a fast paced and customer focused environment.
- Strong man management skills
- In depth knowledge of agricultural machinery is essential
- Proven experience with Parts Control software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Telehandler licence desirable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
