Applications invited for Advanced Agricultural Business Management Programme

Applications are now being invited for The Worshipful Company of Farmers 65th Advanced Agricultural Business Management Programme 2016

More than 1200 delegates have completed this renowned course during the 52 years it has been running. Many of these people now hold influential positions within the industry and consider it to be a profound and extremely rewarding programme for those in management roles.

The objective of the course is to develop an understanding of the business environment and to improve the ability of individuals to operate effectively within their own business. This is achieved through interaction with influential business leaders, case studies and learning from the experiences of other delegates. The course is run by Professor John Alliston through the Worshipful Company of Farmers and the Royal Agricultural University and covers themes such as: Personal Development, Business Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Time Management and the Media.

Course Director Professor John Alliston said, “The Worshipful Company of Farmers course is stimulating to run because the delegates challenge each other to improve both their own performance and their business activities. The learning is both intense and relevant.”

Robin Blatchford who attended the course earlier this year said: “It was an amazing three weeks. I would describe it as if being on an emotional roller coaster. You put together a wonderful group of people, and encouraged us all to open up to each other. I have come away with a new group of friends, far more confidence in myself, and with a determination to get more out of life. We have already begun to look into some of the things that were discussed on the course.”
