There has been recent outrage as the carcasses of badgers from the recent cull were incinerated rather than subjected to tests that could have given more insight into the way bovine TB is spread.


Public protests show the infuriation after just one TB case was found. Moreover, Mark Jones, of Humane Society International UK, said: “We’ve always argued that the majority of badgers shot during a cull are likely to be perfectly healthy, uninfected animals who pose no risk at all.”
